NPP confirms Alexander Afenyo-Markin as Minority Leader for 9th Parliament

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Council has formally approved its leadership team for the 9th Parliament, setting the groundwork for the party’s strategy for handling legislative matters in the next session.

In light of these confirmations, the NPP plans to meet with its incoming MPs to inform them of their respective positions and duties prior to the formal commencement of the 9th Parliament.

As the NPP is ready to tackle the legislative priorities of the 9th Parliament, this leadership choice highlights the party’s dedication to upholding unity and guaranteeing the efficient administration of parliamentary activities.

The newly appointed leadership are Alexander Afenyo-Markin as Minority Leader,Patricia Appiagyei as Deputy Minority Leader,Frank Annoh-Dompreh as Chief Whip,Habib Iddrisu as First Deputy Minority Whip and David Opoku as Second Deputy Minority Whip.
