A recent poll conducted by Global InfoAnalytics prior to the Kpandai parliamentary rerun shows that New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate Matthew Nyindam is slightly in the lead, attracting 50% of voter backing.
Released on Sunday, December 14, 2025, the survey indicates Nyindam ahead of his nearest competitor, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate Daniel Nsala Wakpal, who has 46% support.
Independent candidate Donkor Eric Nipani is expected to draw approximately 1% of the votes, with 3% of participants still undecided.
The survey indicates that the competition is still closely fought, as Nyindam’s advantage lies within a ±3.9% margin of error, suggesting slight changes among voters.
Approximately 2% of Nyindam’s former backers have transitioned to Wakpal, matched by the same proportion of Wakpal’s supporters switching to Nyindam.
The survey emphasizes a notable shift in backing from Donkor Eric Nipani, as 28% of his former supporters are now aligning with Nyindam, aiding in his present narrow advantage.
Global InfoAnalytics’ results indicate that although the race is very competitive, Nyindam holds a small advantage, highlighting the significance of turnout and voter engagement ahead of the rerun planned for December 30, 2025.
