NPP’s Dennis Kwakwa involved in near-fatal accident with two others

Dennis Kwakwa, the former Ashanti Regional Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and two other individuals are recuperating following a near-fatal incident that occurred on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

After leaving a campaign stop in the Ashanti Region’s Asante Akim South Constituency, all three of them were hurt.

Along with other members of the campaign team who were traveling in other cars, the accident happened as part of a convoy that included Chairman Wontumi, also known as Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi-Boasiako.

After a trip intended to garner support for the NPP, the convoy was headed back.

Chairman Wontumi’s aide George Opoku Amponsah claims that Dennis Kwakwa’s car tried to pass an articulated truck close to the Bomfa junction.

The occupants of the near-fatal collision suffered injuries as a result of this maneuver.

Kwakwa and his two friends were promptly taken to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after the accident to receive medical assistance.

After being treated for their wounds, they were allowed to leave the hospital.

According to reports, Dennis Kwakwa is among the three people who are in stable health and making a full recovery.
