About 13,516 qualified teachers from approved colleges of education have been placed nationwide in basic and second-cycle schools as part of the National Service Scheme (NSS) to fulfill their one-year mandated national service requirement.
As a result, it has advised all qualified trained instructors to visit www.nss.gov.gh, the website of the program, to verify their placements and then travel to their respective NSS Regional Secretariats to finish the registration procedure.
The NSS’s acting director of corporate affairs, Entsiwah Jr., signed a statement stating that the registration and certification procedure will start on March 8, 2024.
“All service persons in this category are, therefore, required to log onto www.nss.gov.gh on the scheme’s website to check their placements and registration begins 8 March 2024, at all centres,” it stated.
Therefore, the statement asked all qualified and trained teachers to accept their assignments and report on time.
