Vincent Ekow Assafuah, the Member of Parliament for the Old Tafo Constituency, has declared his intention to sue the government over what he claims is the arbitrary termination of young employees.
He contends that rather than providing young people with worthwhile options, the government’s inability to fulfill its pledges to create jobs and boost the economy has led to political victimization.
The MP criticized the present administration’s emphasis on political appointments and incessant committee formations above real government in a statement released on Tuesday, February 11.
He maintained that the administration has resorted to firing young workers who were properly hired into the system rather than placing a higher priority on jobs and economic stability.
He warned that such measures would merely exacerbate economic suffering and emphasized that the government should focus on creating job possibilities rather than removing workers.
In order to hold the government responsible and stop such arbitrary terminations, the MP for the Old Tafo constituency restated his resolve to pursue justice through the judicial system.
