Musah Malik (Wustars), the recently elected chairman of Suame Magazine Zone 18, has urged the government and the ministry of trade to help the magazine’s artisans.
The magazine will be more appealing to Ghanaians, according to the chairman, who stressed the need of a strong partnership based on mutual respect and trust.
Chairman Wustars said that while I would be in charge of the unity agenda, your position as branch executives and Magazine artisans would be absolutely essential. Don’t wait for change while you remain uncommitted. You must participate in the construction process.
Foreigners are flocking to Suame Magazine to learn this traditional trade, he continued, while our youth are choosing Western education, which may leave them jobless after graduation.
He urged Ghanaian youngsters to support the trade of their forefathers since it is the only source of sustenance for their families.
“Unity is essential since the magazine needs everyone on board” he stated.
