Two Teachers were detained by the police on August 7, 2023, for cheating on exams at the Dunkwa Secondary Technical Center in the Central Region’s Upper Denkyira East Municipality.

Albert Adu-Gyan and Yaw Adadai, two suspects who worked as teachers at PEEBLE Calvary and Oxford Santech schools, respectively, were apprehended when they tried to smuggle some completed exam questions into the examination room for students taking the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) there.

Two mobile phones and answers to questions on two different papers were among the items taken from the two suspects.

Both suspects are being held in custody and will appear in court.

The Police has warned the public against engaging in examination malpractices during this year’s BECE or else they will detain anyone caught engaging in such behavior.
