Police arrest 3 suspects, recover guns in robbery operations at Afienya

The Special Support Unit of the Ghana Police Service has apprehended three individuals linked to a wave of thefts reported in Afienya, Atadeka, Apollonia, and nearby areas in the Greater Accra Region.

The individuals apprehended, named Seth Noi Tetteh, known as “Wonder,” alongside two others, Selasie Emmanuel and Sulemana Osman, were taken into custody on 24th December 2025 and 26th December 2025, respectively, after reports indicated that suspect Seth Noi Tetteh had been detained at the Atadeka Police Station due to his supposed participation in several robbery cases in the vicinity.

While being interrogated, suspect Seth Noi Tetteh confessed to participating in multiple robberies in Afienya, Atadeka, Apollonia, Spintex Road, Airport Residential Area, Community 18, Ashaiman, Mataheko, and Oyibi, and revealed that he worked alongside other accomplices.

Additional information directed the police to Kasoa Ofankor on December 26, 2025, where they apprehended suspects Selasie Emmanuel and Sulemana Osman at their location. An examination of their home led to the retrieval of a pump-action shotgun, a BB cartridge, a Bruni handgun, and three ammunition rounds, which are kept as evidence to aid current investigations.

All three suspects are now in police custody aiding the investigations, as efforts persist to dismantle the robbery network and hold all individuals linked to these criminal activities accountable.
