The vice president’s spokesperson and economic advisor, Dr. Gideon Boako, has given assurances that Ghana’s chronic power outages will soon come to an end.

He expressed a great deal of hope that the nation’s power outages will be fixed by the end of this month.

Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show, Dr. Boako said with confidence that “the power cuts will end by the end of this month, based on the information I have and my current location.”

His words demonstrate the government’s dedication to finding a solution to Ghanaians’ electrical problems.

Dr. Boako raised concern about the inconsistent electricity supply to communities around the country, despite his optimistic outlook. He specifically chastised the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) for not giving its customers a timetable to help them organize their everyday activities.

He believed that the ECG’s methods of service delivery and communication were insufficient and harmful to Ghanaians’ well-being.

Dr. Boako stressed the importance of informing the people in a straightforward and succinct manner on the state of the power. He emphasized that Ghanaians had to be made aware of the precise difficulties that are generating the blackouts and provided with an estimated time of arrival for these problems’ resolution.

He claims that in order for citizens to prevent monetary losses and interruptions to their everyday lives, this transparency is essential.

Dr. Boako concluded by restating the government’s resolve to deal with the problems related to energy and make sure Ghanaians have a steady and dependable supply of power.

In order to lessen the suffering of Ghanaians impacted by the erratic supply of energy, he asked the ECG and other stakeholders to place a high priority on efficient communication and prompt resolution of the power problems.
