On September 12 and 13, 2022, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the president of the republic, will travel to the Volta Region on a two-day business visit.
The President is due to engage with local traditional leaders and commission new projects while also inspecting others that are already underway.
President Akufo-Addo will attend the Ghana Bar Association Conference opening in Ho on Monday, September 12, 2022, and afterwards participate in an interview session on Stone City Radio.
After that, he will travel to Kpeve to check on the status of the Agenda 111 Hospital Project and the Eastern Corridor Road, both of which are located in the South Dayi Constituency.
The President will complete the day’s events by visiting the Chief of the Akpini Traditional Area in Kpando and touring the Steel Bridge’s building site.
The tour’s second day will start with a visit to the military barracks of the 66th Artillery Regiment in Ho and a look at the Ghana Secondary Cities Support initiative in the Ho Central Market.
After that, President Akufo-Addo will travel to Aflao, in the Ketu South constituency, to officially open the Aflao Community Day School.
After paying a courtesy call to the Paramount Chief of the Battor Traditional Area, he will continue to the North Tongu constituency to inaugurate the North Tongu District Magistrate Court, which will mark the end of the President’s visit to the area.
