The people of Ghana and I would like to sincerely congratulate His Excellency Félix Tshisekedi, the President-elect of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on the country’s Constitutional Court’s confirmation of his win in last December’s presidential election.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo’s brotherly citizens deserve praise as well for maintaining peace and order throughout the election process, which has reinforced the country’s multiparty democracy’s boundaries.
In order to maintain the close bonds of friendship and cooperation that currently exist between our two nations and which are predicated on the common agenda of development, prosperity, and adherence to the principles of good governance and the rule of law, I look forward to working with President Tshisekedi in his second term of office, just as we did in his first.
Again, my sincere congratulations go out to the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and to President Félix Tshisekedi. Best wishes for his and the country’s success.
