In order to explain why he hasn’t been seen in the office for some time, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosomefreho, Hon. Yaw Danso, advised a journalist who was enquiring about his whereabouts to inform the members of his Assembly that he is dead.
Assembly Members in the district have expressed vehement displeasure at the District Chief Executive’s (DCE) absence putting a stop to district government operations.
They lamented the lack of the appointment, claiming that it had a negative impact on district productivity because no significant decisions on the district’s development had been made recently.
The District Chief Executive instructed the reporter to inform the Assemblymen that he is dead after Obuasi Television, an online-based television station, inquired about his whereabouts.
“Tell them I’m dead, I’m dead,” he retorted when asked where he has been and why he cannot be found by Assembly Members.
