President-elect John Mahama names transition team

In order to ensure a seamless transition of power from the outgoing government to his incoming administration, President-elect John Dramani Mahama has formally announced his Transition Team.

The Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845), which requires the formation of such a team to guarantee a smooth political transition, is in line with this action.

The appointed members of the joint team led by Hon. Julius Debrah – Co-chairperson, Dr. Callistus Mahama as Secretary to the Transition Team

Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, Dr. Valerie Sawyer, Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Hon. Mahama Ayariga ,Hon. Goosie Tanoh ,Dr. Edward Omane Boamah are all members.

Additionally, the President-Elect has nominated Rt. Hon. Edward Doe Adjaho as a member of the transitional advisory Council.
