In order to thank the Chiefs and people for their support and resounding endorsement in the general elections of 2024, President John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to embark on a “Thank You Tour” today, traveling to the Upper East and Northern Regions.
The purpose of the journey is to deepen relationships with traditional and community leaders and recognize the roles that the various areas played in his election victory.
President Mahama is anticipated to interact with important stakeholders during the tour and restate his dedication to meeting the needs of the populace.
At 2:00 PM, the tour will start with a gathering at Bolgatanga’s Jubilee Park.
Then, on Saturday, March 22, at 2:00 PM, President Mahama will travel to the Northern Region and host a similar event at Jubilee Park in Tamale.
In order to improve ties with traditional leaders and the general public, the tour is a part of a larger engagement series.
President Mahama is anticipated to talk on current and upcoming development initiatives in both regions.
