A 120-day social contract task group was established by President John Dramani Mahama with the duty of overseeing and guaranteeing the fulfillment of these social commitments during his first 120 days in office.
Tuesday, February 11th, saw the official inauguration of the 19-member task force at the Jubilee House.
The president called on the task force members to put in a lot of effort to make sure that his pledges during his first 120 days in office are kept.
He said during the task force’s first meeting that most of its members are ministers, who were chosen for the position because many of the commitments directly relate to their responsibilities.
President Mahama made a number of promises in the lead-up to the election, which he promised to carry out during his first 120 days in office. These include doing away with nuisance taxes like the Betting Tax and the E-Levy, among others.

- Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare – Minister for Trade, Agribusiness & Industry

- Hon. Haruna Iddrisu – Minister for Education
- Hon. Dzifa Gomashie – Minister for Tourism
- Hon. George Opare Addo- Minister for Youth Development
- Hon. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey – Minister-Designate for Gender
- Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh – Minister for Health
- Hon. Rashid Pelpuo – Minister for Employment
- Hon. Kofi Armah Buah – Minister for Lands & Mineral Resources
- Hon. Sam George – Minister for Communication, Digital Technology & Innovation
- Hon. Murtala Mohammed – Minister for Environment
- Mr Goosie Tanoh – Presidential Advisor on the 24-Hour Economy
- Mr Prosper Bani – National Security Adviser
- Kofi Boakye – Director of Operations
- Francis Dodoo – Presidential Adviser
