Twelve nominees have been sent to Parliament by President John Dramani Mahama for review and vetting by the Appointments Committee.
Nine Sector Ministers and three Regional Ministers are among the nominees, representing a mix of seasoned public officials, professionals, and politicians dedicated to furthering the country’s development objectives.
It is anticipated that the appointments, which cover important ministries and areas, will increase the government’s emphasis on infrastructure, youth development, governance, and economic growth.

The Speaker, Alban Bagbin, has formally sent the nominations to Parliament for ratification. The applicants will undergo a rigorous vetting process by the Appointments Committee, which will evaluate their credentials, performance histories, and fit with national interests.
Previous high-profile nominations have already established the administration’s priorities, such as Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Dr. John Jinapo, and Dr. Ayine for important ministerial positions in Justice, Energy, and Finance.
