President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his determination to finish the Western Region’s Takoradi Market Circle project, which has been put on hold.
Speaking to traders at the market as part of his “Thank You Tour” of the Western Region, the President revealed that he will meet with contractors and Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, the Minister of Finance, on Friday to create a clear plan for restarting the project.
In order to ensure that the contractor and workers returned to the site to finish building, he promised traders during his address that every effort would be done.
It is anticipated that the €48 million project, which started in 2020 under the previous administration, will include bulk breaking spaces, 33 restaurants and food courts, and 2,408 vendors.
