Comrade Foyo Mustapha Gbande, the Deputy General Secretary (Operations) of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged party members and supporters to remain calm as the leadership attempts to resolve issues with internal party relations and employment.
In a statement released on behalf of the President and the party’s leadership, Mr. Gbande acknowledged the range of issues raised by supporters and members, pointing out that such comments demonstrate the fervor and dedication of the NDC’s grassroots.
“We appreciate all concerns, in whatever form they come, from the rank and file of the party, as well as from members and non-members alike.
I urge everyone to remain calm as we explore practical ways to address all matters relating to jobs and relationships,” he said.
He emphasized that the primary responsibility of leadership is to serve the people and to collaborate in order to improve the shared problems that both party members and citizens face.
Mr. Gbande went on to say that everyone’s opinions have been heard “loud and clear” and that nobody should be held accountable for not fully understanding existing procedures.
“We only ask that you grant us the space and time to find lasting solutions, even if gradually.
Our government continues to make steady progress, regardless of the challenges,” he stated.
Mr. Gbande reminded members that patience and resiliency have always been the cornerstones of the NDC’s collective strength and urged moderation and constructive participation.
“On behalf of the President and the leadership of our great party, we are completely behind you.
Concerns about internal coordination within the party and job placements have been voiced by several party supporters and members of the public at the time of the statement.
The leadership of the NDC insists that it is still dedicated to resolving these issues while guaranteeing harmony, advancement, and fair chances for everybody.
