Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s vice presidential candidate, has asked the people not to evaluate the party exclusively on the basis of its recent setbacks, stressing that the party can improve the country’s economy.

Speaking to a group of chiefs and locals in Benyin, Western Region, he emphasized the party’s many chances that may spur the nation’s development.

Dr. Matthew emphasized the significance of providing Ghanaians with the necessary education and training to provide job opportunities.

He brought up the impending creation of a petroleum center, the opening of which is slated for August 19, 2024, in Jomoro by the President.

The first stage, which will cost $12 million, is expected to boost employment and the local economy in the Nzema district.

Dr. Prempeh urged people to extend the NPP’s mandate by emphasizing how important it is to back the party’s development-focused programs.

The Omanhene of Western Nzema, Awulae Annor Adjei, praised Dr. Prempeh for his significant contributions to the upcoming petroleum hub project.

In addition, he urged the former minister of energy to remember the initiative when he moves into a more senior position in the administration.
