An Accra Circuit Court has granted GH¢70,000 bail with two sureties to Warrant Officer Class One (WO1) Mensah Williams, the soldier who was captured on camera attacking a pharmacy employee and a female customer at Burma Camp.

The attack happened on October 29, 2025, in the e-Pride Pharmacy. According to reports, WO1 Williams was enraged when the attendant told him that the medications were not refundable.

He had instructed his son to buy medication on his behalf, and he had claimed a return of roughly GH₵65.00. He aggressively assaulted both the male worker and a female client who tried to capture the incident on her phone, according to CCTV footage that was extensively shared by media outlets.

On October 30, 2025, the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) detained WO1 Williams after the attack and turned him over to the Cantonments Police Station for further investigation and prosecution.
