Local herbal medicine manufacturer Givers Herbal has joined the hunt for the man who was shown ruthlessly beating his son in a social media video.

Therefore, in addition to the GH10,000 set by Child Right International and the GH2,000 set by the Ghana Police Service, the corporation has placed a GH5,000 bounty on the man’s head.

The youngster could be seen and heard desperately screaming in the video, but it is unknown what may have prompted the perpetrator to carry out such a heinous and brutal deed.

Numerous viewers of the video circulated it and alerted the authorities to the abuse.

Speaking to journalists in Accra, Mr. Richard Sarkodie, the personal assistant to Givers Herbal’s CEO, denounced the toddler’s whipping and called it horrible.

Givers Herbal’s management, through the Office of our CEO, Dr. Solomon Kwabi, officially staked a reward claim of GH $5,000 to any person who will be able to provide facts that will lead to the finding of the person in question to face the full rigors of the law, he added.

He stated that the Ghana Police Service would verify the information supplier before awarding the reward.

He also pledged that the business will use its nationwide networks to support the hunt.

In order to help in the hunt for the elusive man and bring justice for the young child, he said, “as a herbal firm with a national reach, we have also informed all our consumers.”

Investigations into the situation have already been started by the Ghana Police Service.
