The shocking discovery of a hidden location thought to have been used for ritual executions has shocked the people of Gblorkope, in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region.

After three individuals, Noah Gblor, John Gblor, and Yohannes Gblor, were arrested on suspicion of being implicated in the disappearance of 28-year-old Nelson Anyinaa, this information became public.

The suspects confessed, according to police, and guided authorities to the remote location where they retrieved Nelson’s mutilated remains and the bodies of four other people who had been buried in shallow graves.

Authorities claim that the accused are members of a secret society that utilized the victims’ bones in rituals.

The formerly peaceful community is now engulfed in horror and incredulity as families confront the atrocity that was concealed among them.

While investigations continue to find additional victims and collaborators, local leaders have urged that everyone remain calm.

The public has received assurances from police that they will make every effort to hold those responsible for the incident accountable.
