Washing bay attendant killed while washing truck

While cleaning a truck at Abirem Newtown in the Ashanti Region, a thirty-year-old washing bay attendant lost his life.

During the cleaning procedure, the deceased, who was only known as Nuhu, became stuck under the truck’s head and sadly died prior to being arrived at the hospital.

At the Alhaji Washing Bay in Abirem New Town, in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region, the attendant was tasked with cleaning the vehicle when the unfortunate tragedy happened.

He was pinned beneath the truck as its head suddenly dropped while he was cleaning the engine compartment.

To release him from the car, a group from a towing firm, witnesses, and his coworkers had to work together for several hours.

When the incident occurred, a group of police officers arrived on the scene and transported him to the hospital.

The proprietor of the washing bay and the car’s driver have been invited to help with the investigation by police at the Kenyasi District Police Command.

His expectant wife, with whom he had recently tied the knot, surviving the deceased.
