The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council and the Christian Council of Ghana express their admiration for the police leadership’s outreach to important stakeholders in their endeavor to improve public involvement.
It follows a stakeholder meeting with the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council and the Christian Council of Ghana, which was held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the Pentecost transit guest house in Accra by Inspector General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare and members of the Police Management board.
The meeting is a part of the police service’s continuing engagement with important stakeholders as they get ready for end-of-year security.
During the program, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, thanked the IGP for visiting the council and spending the time to clarify some security issues to them.
“We thank you for the education. These are things people pay to acquire but you have shared it with us for free, we are grateful. You have our support as a council,” he said.
Bishop Gordon Kisseih, the First Vice-President of the GPCC council and Presiding Bishop of the Life International Church, also added his voice to the expression of gratitude, stating that the council is pleased with the direction and methods of the police department.
“I want to reassure you that you have our support and that you are on the right track.”
The Inspector General of Police, for his part, assured Ghanaians that the police are ready to provide them with a “overdose” of protection this Christmas.
