Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso I has given his chiefs and the Bole Traditional Area populace the task of spearheading the campaign for their kinsman, John Mahama, to be elected president in 2024.

Speaking to him during Mr. Mahama’s courtesy call, Bole’s paramount chief made it apparent that a friend and a relative are not the same thing.

He asked his subjects and sub-chiefs to make sure Mahama and the NDC receive at least 75% of the votes cast in the Bole area.

Bolewura asserts that strengthening the chieftaincy institution—particularly in Gonjaland—is another goal of the 2024 election, and that John Mahama is the only candidate who can ensure this empowerment for Gonja chiefs.

The chief also expressed his happiness at having his son visit his palace once more, citing his concern for Bole’s and the Savannah region’s development.

“This is the point we’ve reached; it is time to bring back honour to Bole and Gonjaland by leaving no stone unturned to bring prestige to the Bole Traditional Area”, the chief stated.

Mahama stayed in his hometown of Bole for the first three days of the new year. He arranged a meeting for the Savanna regional and constituency executives while he was there.

The Mahama family met with the branch executives of the NDC’s Bole Constituency and served hot meals to kids with the help of his wife, Lordina.
