Starting today January 30, 2024, former president John Dramani Mahama is expected to tour the Eastern Region as part of his “Building Ghana” tour.
The itinerary of the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is designed to foster relationships with the local populace.
At the Peduase Valley Resort, the tour will start with a meeting with the party’s Regional Executive Committee and interested parties.
At Frankadua Market Square, farmers and fishmongers will hold a durbar after the Anum Manhene is given a courtesy call.
The day will start with a durbar of traders and transport unions at the Agormenya Roman Catholic Parish Hall and end with a town hall meeting at Koforidua, the Eastern Regional Capital, at GNAT Hall.
At SDA Training College, Campus Connect will wrap up the first day’s activities. The itinerary for the second day of the tour will include a breakfast meeting with the Koforidua clergy, a courtesy call on the Koforidua Zongo Chief, and additional engagements to wrap up the tour of the region.
