Today, July 10, 2024, will mark the start of the second phase of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s nationwide campaign towards the 2024 General Elections. He will first visit Nayiri’s Palace in Nalerigu to obtain the blessings of the King of Mamprugu before embarking on a tour of the North East Region.
Lawyer Sulley Sambian, the NPP’s North East Region Regional Secretary, has announced that the Vice President will spend two days in the region, holding rallies and engaging with different groups.
“The visit of the Vice President to the North East Region will mark the beginning of the second phase of his nationwide campaign tour. Being a son of the North East Region, the Vice President and his campaign team have thought it wise to come home to seek blessings from his father the Nayiri first before embarking on his campaign tour of the North and the nation for that matter,” a statement signed by lawyer Sulley Sambian noted.
On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, His Excellency the Vice President will tour the constituencies of Nalerigu/Gambaga, Yunyoo, and Bunkpurugu as part of his two-day campaign visit to the area.
The team will then link the Chereponi constituency through the Bunkpurugu constituency on Thursday, July 11th, the statement continued, encouraging all party supporters to attend and lend their support.
