The nation’s youth have been urged to exercise restraint when it comes to their spending during and after the holiday season.
To minimize Christmas debt, many will stop from purchasing many presents this year due to the campaign encouraging them to reduce unneeded gifts.
On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, in Koforidua of the Eastern region, Samuel Osei Sarkodie (SOS), the organizer of the New Juaben North NPP constituency, gave the warning statement in an interview with Kaakyire Kwasi Afari of Afeema FM.
People have been receiving advice from The Money Saving Expert on how to make financial savings throughout the holiday season in order to expand their small business.
To minimize social pressure, Mr. Samuel Osei Sarkodie recommended against imitating or copying friends’ lavish spending habits.
He advised the kids to spend their money in line with their available purchasing power to achieve this.
Mr. Samuel Osei Sarkodie has however stated his commitment to assisting the young through his youth in agricultural and business initiatives in order to enable them to become self-sufficient in their communities.
According to him, President Akufo Addo’s YouStart and other programs should be viewed as opportunities for young people to start their own businesses.
In order to do this, he has called for partnerships between individuals and stakeholder groups to construct farmlands and develop business opportunities for young people in New Juaben North in order to create jobs.
The youth organizer for the constituency stated that he is prepared to organize the young in his district to increase support for the NPP in the forthcoming general elections.
The constituency youth organizer is planning to establish committees within the New Juaben North youth wings in 2023 to carry out certain particular mandates towards securing victory for the NPP party in order to make the dream come true.
SOS appeals to all Ghanaians and other political parties for help in helping the administration save the nation from the impending collapse of the world economy.
