A team of engineers and the Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Attah, have examined the advancement of various road projects that are currently being worked on in Accra.

On January 3, 2022, the projects had a ministerial inspection.

The School Junction to Motorway Road Project, which is now 43% finished, was visited by the Minister.

By June 2023, construction on the road leading to the new Olympic-size stadium being built at Borteyman for the next 13th Africa Games is anticipated to be finished.

As soon as the School Junction to Motorway Road project is finished, commuters from Ashaley Botwe, Nmai Dzorn, School Junction, and Borteyman to the Tema Motorway will experience shorter commute times and increased safety.

The Minister emphasized that “2023 will be an action year for the road sector,” expressing pleasure with the work’s level and pace.
