Inusah Fuseini, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale Central, thinks the recent changes in the minority’s parliamentary leadership were “essential.”
In an interview with the morning program “Ghana Montie” on NEAT FM, he highlighted that the NDC requires many more highly skilled individuals in order to compete with the majority on matters of the economy.
“You need people who understand the dynamics of the economy,” he observed
The new minority leadership, in his opinion, is “highly qualified” for the task at hand.
The NDC said that it has changed the minority leadership in parliament in a statement signed by the general secretary, Fifi Kwetey.
Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, a former deputy minister of finance, has been chosen to lead the minority party in Ghana’s eighth parliament.
Kofi Armah Buah also serves as the Minority Chief Whip’s deputy. As Chief Whip, Kwame Agbodza takes over.
The positions of Comfort Doyo Cudjoe-Ghansah, MP for Ada, and Ahmed Ibrahim, MP for Banda, respectively, as First and Second Deputy Minority Chief Whips, have been preserved.
Yakubu Tonyaidu, a supporter of Hon. Muntaka, has been reported to the Disciplinary Committee.
