On Monday, June 12, 2023, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, the Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra region, launched the second phase of a Free Driving Training Program called “LSA Free Driving School” for University of Ghana students.
With flexible time schedules, the three-week theoretical and practical free driving course will be centered on the university campus and allow students to learn to drive at their own pace without interfering with their academic work.
During this second phase of the LSA Free Driving School Initiative, over 1000 students are anticipated to receive free driving instruction.
The free driving school exercise’s first phase, which took place in 2022 at Abelenkpe in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, benefited 500 citizens of the area.
The Accra College of Education, the University of Media, Arts and Communication, and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), all located within the constituency, are among the higher institutions that are anticipated to get the LSA Free Driving School present.
Phase 2 of the charitable lawmaker’s free driving classes is the opportunity for students to receive free driving instruction.
