Prior to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primaries, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has emphasized the significance of a derogatory-free campaign.
To secure the party’s victory in the next elections, he urged party members to come together as a family and work together before, during, and after the primaries.
These comments were given by Dr. Bawumia at the inauguration of his regional campaign secretariat in Asokwa, which is a part of the Ashanti region’s Asokwa constituency.
The Vice President expressed his joy and gratitude for the overwhelmingly positive response he received from party members during the event, which was a part of his campaign tour of the region.
In addition, Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo, the Chief of Agric Nzema, vowed his support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s bid to head the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the general elections of 2024.
The Chief pledged spiritual and financial support to the flagbearer candidate and financed the local campaign office as a demonstration of his backing.
The Vice President’s appeal for an insult-free campaign demonstrates his dedication to fostering party unity and a positive political climate.
Dr. Bawumia stated that he hopes to promote a spirit of cooperation and teamwork among party members as they work towards the shared objective of winning the upcoming elections by stressing the significance of upholding respect and decency.
