The student at the core of the assault case that took place at Adisadel College has been granted bail by Cape Coast District Court 2.
The offender was granted bail by the court, which was presided over by His worship Eric Oheneba Antwi Boasiako. He will next appear in court on August 2, 2023.
Because there weren’t enough people available to serve as a jury in the juvenile case, the judge decided to grant bail. The accused student was consequently given bail until his subsequent court appearance.
The student was detained by Cape Coast police earlier this week and warned for assault and harm. He was taken into custody, released to the school’s headmaster, and told to appear in court on Friday.
The arrest happened as a result of a horrific event where a student at Adisadel College attacked another student aggressively on camera.
The victim, who was initially suspended with the offenders, has since been called back to school.
