According to President Akufo-Addo, he doesn’t care who leads the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into the 2024 general election.
The President stated that as he is the exercise’s adjudicator and umpire, he is not required to have a preference in an interview with Nandom FM.
“The only time I express a preference is when I cast my ballot; before to that, I do not.”
For the time being, my outlook is straightforward. Just set up a fair procedure’ prerequisites.One that will bring us together after the competition, according to President Akufo-Addo.
President Akufo-Addo said what the party needs now is somebody who can unite the party to confront the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and beat them in the 2024 election.
“That’s my aim., I will do whatever I can to assist the new leadership of the party to organise the process in such a way that is fair so that whoever wins or loses will accept defeat. From that basis, we will bring the party together and present a formidable force.”
What the party needs right now, according to President Akufo-Addo, is someone who can bring the party together in order to take on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and defeat them in the 2024 election.
“A summer is not made up of one swallow.Inform them.They shouldn’t be hesitant because they have been writing me off for the entirety of my political career and claim I won’t succeed.
He continued, “I have won twice, and I will win again for the party in December 2024.
