The NDC has been forcefully cautioned not to undertake any acts of violence during tomorrow’s by-election in the Assin North constituency by the Bono East Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ibrahim Baba Bukhari, also known as “Game Changer.”
He asserts that the current NPP administration will not permit anyone to wreck havoc during the next by-elections.
While urging for a calm by-election, the NPP stalwart did issue a warning that the party is always prepared to go boot for boot with the NDC in any kind of aggressive tactics.
If they try to cause any mayhem, the security personnel will crush them because we are prepared to fight them boot for boot.
The NDC vigilane groups Azoka Boys, Salifu Eleven, and Jangoo Boys ex. are being warned, “We are sounding the warning. We don’t want violence, but if anyone tries anything that might endanger even one life, there is only one thing I can guarantee you—so help me God that someone else raises your sons and daughters” that if they try to incite violence as they usually do during the Ghanaian election, we shall retaliate sharply,” Chairman Ibrahim Baba Bukhari told the media from his hospital bed.
“We have a plan, and I am confident that it will help us win the Assin North Parliamentary seat.”
Following a motorcycle accident while campaigning, Bono East Regional Chairman, who led a strong NPP team for the Assin North by-election, was in critical condition.
The incident happened in Assin Bereku, which is a part of the Central Region’s Assin North District.
On Monday, June 11, Chairman Bukari was riding a motorcycle when a speeding car hit it, inflicting serious injuries.
He was evacuated from St. Francis Xavier Hospital to Accra for additional medical care due of his serious condition.
