Bawumia himself cannot even match our running mate, let alone getting someone to match her – Kofi Adams

Kofi Adams, the Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency in the Oti Region, has commented on the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s tardiness in announcing his running mate for the 2024 general election.

Adams ascribed the delay to Bawumia’s difficulties in locating a candidate to face Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in an interview with Adom News.

Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, the NDC’s option for running mate, has the support of Adams, who said that Bawumia finds it difficult to find a candidate who can match her level.

“Whether Bawumia likes it or not, he has to name his running mate, but he is struggling because he himself cannot even match our running mate, let alone getting someone to match her,” he said.
