Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) nominee for president, will start his first national campaign trip today in advance of the December 7, 2024 presidential election.
In this initial phase of campaigning, which he will begin in the Eastern Region, Dr. Bawumia and his team will tour all 16 regions. According to a statement sent to the media and signed by the Campaign Team’s Director of Communications, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Dr. Bawumia would meet with a variety of stakeholders, including farmers, students, traders, drivers, youth, and traditional leaders.
It stated that he will also go to stores and markets to talk to vendors and customers. Vice-President Bawumia was said in the statement to continue interacting with the media and to host town hall meetings.
It also mentioned how the NPP candidate’s eight years as president and vice president had shown him to have greater honesty, discipline, focus, ideas, and solutions than his major opponent had combined.
The statement went on to say that, should Dr. Bawumia be elected president in December 2024, she would unquestionably have demonstrated her ability to find answers and her commitment to doing so will not waver.
