The creation of Regional and District Inter-Party Advisory Committees (IPACs) as part of an inclusive process prior to the continuous voter registration is being considered by the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC).

For its continuing voter registration in advance of the District Assembly and Unit Committee Elections later this year, the Commission is once again suggesting Thursday, February 16, 2023.

If all goes according to plan, the registration will be followed by an exhibition of the register from Tuesday, June 6, to Saturday, June 10, 2023.

All of these will be done in order to get ready for the anticipated October 3, 2023 date for the district assemblies and unit committee elections this year.

Two meetings of IPAC are anticipated to take place before the planned date is officially approved, according to the suggested timeline from the EC.
