The vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, gave GH100,000.00 to the construction of the Ejura-Sekyedumase Divisional Police Command in the Ashanti Region.
The money was utilized to cover the roofing costs for a three-story building in the Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipality that would shortly house 100 police personnel.
After the project’s inception in 2021, when Barima Osei Hwedie II, the leader of the Ejura Traditional Area, had the idea, Dr. Bawumia made his initial presentation of 1,000 cement bags.
Dr. Bawumia made the donation on November 12, 2022, in Accra, during a brief meeting with Barima Osei Hwedie II, the chief of the Ejura Traditional Area.
Dr. Bawumia expressed his fervent wish that the project will be completed on time to help the area become more secure during the presentation.
He promised to support the Ejura authoritie’s efforts to maintain law and order in the area.
According to Barima Osei Hwedie II, Chief of the Ejura Traditional Area, Dr. Bawumia’s considerate action was timely and he appreciated the assistance.
He thanked the vice president for continuing to support the development of the Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipality and the Ashanti Region.
