THE FRAUDULENT ATTITUDE OF AKOSUA FRIMPOMAA AND THE CROOKED BEHAVIOR OF YAO ZIGAH, WILL THE GHANA POLICE SERVICE BE ABLE TO QUENCH THE FIRE, WHEN IT FLARES!? – Osei Kofi Acquah the Former National Youth Organizer for the CPP writes

On 5th December 2023 the National Executive Council of the CPP met in Kumasi to decide the way forward of the party.

In the meeting it became evident through some documents rendered in as evidence by the National Treasurer that Nana Akosua Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankuma the set aside former chair person of the CPP has been defrauding the party under false representation.

Frimpomaa has wrote letters appealing for funds without recourse to proper authority and structures.

Again, her personal errand boys and girls have been made financial coordinators, with instructions that they should handle any financial donations which comes to the party, relegating the National Treasurer who per the portfolio created by the party’s Constitution should handle the party’s finances.

This among other fraudulent charges in a petition form like Akosua Frimpomaa setting up parallel structures, setting up her own Database to collate official party Data without consulting the National Organizers were among many more reasons which led to a motion of her removal to be moved.

NEC later resolved that the entire National Leadership should resign or be set aside, in this case stating emphatically that either the former National officers resign or be Sacked.

Most of the National officers resigned and Frimpomaa was sacked because she said she won’t resign.

There was chanting of “Away” by members of NEC anytime she tried to speak.

Now the NEC constitued an Interim council to run the affairs of the party until a New Leadership takes over.

Sitting throughout the meeting was Mr Yao Ziga a co-opted member of the CPP council of Elders who saw everything and heard what NEC decided.

It is said that old people who nears their grave searches for Redemption, but unfortunately Mr Ziga has proven differently.

He has been a very dishonest old man and unprincipled to be called a comrade or an Nkrumaist.

Mr Ziga writes letters on behalf of the chairman of the council of Elders and sign for him without consulting him.

Mr Ziga who should know better especially when it comes to the decision of the majority and most importantly appropriate party structures through the principle of DEMOCRATIC CENTRALISM, has allocated to himself powers he doesn’t have.

This crooked old man who should be honest for once in his life, lives a delusional life by thinking he has powers that is bigger than Central Committee of the party and the National Experience Council.

Complaints of unlawful entry, Trespassing and Burglary has been made to the Nima Divisional command against Maame Frimpomaa, Habib Yakubu and Joyce Larbi aka Maame Serwaa.

The Complainants have expressed their willingness to press full charges amid pleas for out of police station settlement.

The police have been a bit hesitant in accelerating prosecution which worries the Complainants.

Now the question is, if everyone decides to seek justice themselves, if the Complainants decides to disrespect directives given by the Greater Police command, what will the end results be?

Will the Dilly-Dallying police service eventually gets serious to quench the fire and anger that burning in the heart of aggrieved party members who are not Happy with Frimpomaa’s way of doing things and have already set her aside?

The council of Elders do not have the authority and power to dictate to the Central Committee, the NEC or Congress.

This is therefore a Clarion call for the police service to act before it’s too late.
