“The General Secretary should get a lot of letter heads down, because he is going to write a lot of letters. I have my freedom. I decide where I should belong to,” Hopeson Adorye said.

“Who among the party can claim to have been more devoted to the NPP than I was when I chose to back Alan Kyerematen? Whom? Who goes to the radio or television to defend the party when individuals are disparaging it? Who steps up to defend the top hierarchy when they are under attack? Please, he emphasized, that person should not enter at all” Mr Adorye added.

One of the four New Patriotic Party (NPP) expelled members, Hopeson Adorye, asserts that his voting habits will change in the 2024 presidential election.

Voting for both an NPP parliamentary candidate and Alan Kyerematen in the presidential election was the idea of the former Deputy National Security Coordinator in charge of airports.

He has had to reconsider his voting patterns, nevertheless, in light of the party’s decision to remove him.

Since then, he has declared his support for both an NDC parliamentary candidate and the presidential candidate known as Alan Cash.

According to a statement released by the General Secretary, Justin Koduah Frimpong, he also denied being let go by the party.

He asserted that he was aware of the party’s rules and that he would immediately lose his NPP membership if he publicly supported the former Trade and Industry Minister.

“You don’t need to write to inform me that I have forfeited my membership, because I am already aware. Do you think the others including former General Secretary, Ohene Ntow, are not aware about the party’s structure and constitution? The letter they wrote is just a waste of time,” he stressed.

Additionally, he declared that the Movement for Change and the NPP, not the NPP and the NDC, will compete in the 2024 elections.

Because he (Adorye) is free to say whatever he likes, he has thus asked the General Secretary to draft many letter heads.

In the interim, he has forecast that the NPP will experience a wave of mass resignations leading up to the 2024 elections.

He also said that more than five million people are ready to show their support for Alan.
