The nation’s potholes will be filled with approximately GH¢150 million, according to the Ministry of Roads and Highways.
The Ministry announced in a press release that the Department of Urban Roads would start regular pothole patching on major roads during the dry season.
According to the statement dated February 15, heavy rains caused significant deterioration of these roads last year.
Through this exercise, the Ministry hopes to lower the risk of accidents and increase the longevity of our road infrastructure.
“The amount is part of the first quarter releases from the Ministry of Finance to the Ministry of Roads and Highways,” A portion of a statement was read.
Ghanaians were reassured by the Ministry of Roads and Highways that the ministry is dedicated to resolving any issues related to the country’s road network.
