The National Interconnected Transmission System (NITS) operator, Ghana Grid Company Ltd. (GRIDCo), has notified the public that there will be a 550MW supply shortfall during peak hours because Tema’s gas supply is constrained.
In certain regions of the nation, this will have an impact on customer access to power.
GRIDCo declared that the “inconvenience caused is deeply regretted” in a statement released on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
Parts of the nation’s capital are already off.
