In the event that he is given the mandate in the next elections, the former president emphasized his steadfast commitment to keeping all of his promises to the people of Ghana.

Speaking to participants at the 2024 NDC Policy Dialogue in Peduase, Eastern Region, Mr. Mahama emphasized several important commitments, such as the elimination of the e-levy, the dismantling of ex gratia, and the streamlining of government.

“I am steadfast in delivering on the promises I have made and am resolved to uphold them,” affirmed the former President.

The feasibility of Mr. Mahama’s policy initiatives, like the “24-Hour Economy” and the “Digital Jobs Initiative,” was emphasized. It was stated that these steps could greatly improve the country’s prospects, especially its economic environment.

“Since 2021, I have presented more than sixty distinct policy recommendations, meticulously selected to revitalize our economy and the country’s overall quality of life,” he continued.

The two-day NDC Policy Dialogue saw active participation from a number of party groups who discussed and refined policy proposals meant to be included in the party’s manifesto for the 2024 election.
