John Dramani Mahama, the president-elect, has announced important nominations to the Office of the President, which will begin on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The newly appointed Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, is at the top of the list. During Mahama’s previous administration, Debrah held the same position.
Mahama’s assistant Felix Kwakye Ofosu confirmed the nominations in a statement released on January 6, emphasizing their strategic value in advancing the goals of the next administration.
The full list of appointees includes:
Dr. Callistus Mahama will serve as Executive Secretary to the President.
Prosper Douglas Bani -Head of Interim Security Taskforce.
Dr. Valerie Sawyerr – Senior Presidential Advisor, Governmental Affairs.
Augustus Goosie Tanoh – Presidential Advisor, Responsible for 24-hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development.
Marietta Agyeiwaa Brew – Legal Counsel to the President.
Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu – Acting Spokesperson to the President.
