Barima Sarfo Tweneboah Kodua has just exercised his constitutional right as a citizen of Ghana in the ongoing by-elections at Kumawu.
The President of the Kumawu Traditional Council, Barima Sarfo Tweneboah Kodua has joined a tall list of the Ghanaian dignitaries who have all chief exercised their constitutional rights in the ongoing elections.
The head chief of the Kumawu appeared with his entourage around 1pm to cast his vote.
There was misunderstanding between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over party the use of party pharnaphenelias around the polling station.
The NDC Parliamentary Candidate branded cars storms the Ahenboboano Polling station thereby erupting the confusion. NPP supporters led by Oscar Richards popularly known as Ghanabeyeyie no one can use a branded T-Shirt or cars to campaign during election and therefore smarsh the windscreen of the Toyota Corolla with registration Number As 2367-21.
The NDC call their supporters but the Police were quick to ‘quench that fire’. As of the time of filing this report all the posters on the car has been removed by the NDC Parliamentary candidate and calm has been restored by Ghana Police Service.
