On this 66th anniversary of Ghana’s independence, the majority leader and leader of government business, Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, joined the EKK Charity Foundation chairman Mr Kwafo for a 10km health walk from Suame Roundabout to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kuma with Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye of Sompa Fm, Kwame Adinkra of Pure Fm, Wofa Kofi Appiah of Boss FM and other media personnel.

He had the chance to engage with colleagues, constituents, and Ghanaians equally in a friendly setting during the Walk, which led them through some major streets and the Central Business Area of Kumasi.

As Servant of the people/Leader of the Legislative Assembly, these friendly, but frank, interactions helped the Majority Leader to make informed contributions towards national policy development.

The exercise was climaxed with a Health Screening Exercise at the Forecourt of the Baba Yara Sport Stadium where the Majority Leader/Leader of Government Business used the occasion to extend a Happy Independence to Us All.
