The filing fee and registration form costs for potential candidates in the 2018 National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential primaries are GHC 30,000 and GHC 500,000, respectively.
On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at a news conference held at the NDC headquarters in Accra, the NDC General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, made this announcement.
The election date for the flagbearer has been announced by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as May 13, 2023.
As filing costs and registration forms, the prospective candidates for the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Primaries will each pay GH¢5,000.00, and pay a non-refundable filing fee of GH¢40,000.00 which is non-refundable respectively.
On the same day, the party will elect parliamentary candidates for a number of national constituencies.
The location for the election of the parliamentary candidate will be chosen by the constituency executive committee in cooperation with the regional executive committee (REC) for that area.
According to the primary calendar of events, Fifi Kwetey further stated that all constituency offices will have the forms ready for collection from February 22 through February 24.
Elections are set for May 13, 2023, with the submission of forms slated for March 20–22, vetting for March 27–29, appeal for April 1–4, and elections on April 30–May 2 of 2023.
