The NDC constituency women’s organizer in the Ashanti Region’s Afigya Kwabre North constituency, Hon. Juliana Afriyie, has urged whoever wins the NDC presidential primary to pick a female as the running mate to increase the representation of women in politics.

During a press conference for the party’s polling station women organizers in the Afigya Kwabre North constituency, Hon. Juliana Afriyie noted that the country is on the wrong track due to the NPP government’s poor leadership, which is why it is important to involve the women organizers and motivate them to work harder to ensure NDC and Ghana as a whole victory in the upcoming general elections.

The NDC is the political party that can work things out to ensure a major beneficial impact on the populace, she emphasized, that the country’s overwhelming suffering is severely harming women in the country.

She advised every woman in the nation to put in extra effort to spread positive information about the NDC so that they can win the upcoming general elections and ease the suffering in the nation.

Theresah Baafi, the constituency women organizer for the Afigya Sekyere East constituency, who attended the conference, added that it is time for the women’s wing of the NDC to spread the word about their party to the general public in order to help them win and end the hardship brought by NPP.

She reiterated that the NDC also has women who can stand up firmly to fight for the party to win power in order to eradicate the hardship imposed in the country, saying that while the NPP does claim to have men, they are men who cannot steer the affairs of governance, driving the country into a pit.
