NPP Confab: Stephen Asamoah Boateng charges Stephen Ntim of purchasing vote

Stephen Asamoah Boateng, better known by his stage name Asabee, is a candidate for National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has accused Stephen Ayensu Ntim of purchasing votes.

The two are seen as the front-runners in the competition to succeed departing chairman Freddie Blay.

But Stephen Asamoah Boateng asserts that he has proof that his rival is paying people to vote hours before the polls open.

The notion that the other Stephen will triumph is incorrect.He is purchasing votes.I received the communication from a known individual.The message is with me.

He sent GHC 500 and added GHC 500, the accuser claimed.He claims to know those who are involved in the criminal activity but won’t give names.

Asabee revealed that he had provided the delegates with funding to cover their travel and transportation (T&T).

“I only gave them T&T three times-150, 150 and 100,” he said.

He urged the delegates not to be swayed by the money being given to them, “Please stay focused. Remember 2024, you need a chairman that is focused” Asabee advised.

At the Accra Sports stadium right now, New Patriotic Party delegates are choosing the party’s national executives.

Stephen Asamoah Boateng and Stephen Ayensu Ntim are two of the eight candidates vying for the position of NPP Chairman for the ensuing four years.
